Broadway Beckons

A few quick things:

1. The job search continues to be easier than expected. And I had some unexpected news from Ogilvy today, too. Add that to the list of options. Still, the interview process is wearing me out... I'll need a vacation before I can start a new job.

2. In other news, I tried out a new church on Sunday - Times Square Church. It was pretty good... all different types of people.. a good message and a huge, amazing theatre as a sanctuary! It was beautiful. The service was a smidge longer than I'm used to... okay, an HOUR longer than I'm used to, but it was good so I didn't mind. They baptized 70 people at the 3 p.m. service!!! Anyways, I'll go back there again sometime I'm sure. I think this weekend I'll be tagging along with Atlanta friend-turned NYC friend Jamie to her church... Gallery Church.

3. Finally, tonight is going to be fabulous! Alexis, Ben and I are going to see "The Producers"... on Broadway, of course! I've seen it before but who cares? I'm still excited! And the tickets were only $26 because Alexis went and bought them at student rush today... Cha-Ching!

Quote for today:
When in doubt, make a fool of yourself. There is a microscopically thin line between being brilliantly creative and acting like the most gigantic idiot on earth. So what the heck, leap.
~Cynthia Heimel, "Lower Manhattan Survival Tactics"
