Today was a glorious spring (Is it spring? Are we there yet?) day in New York City. If it were 63 degrees and I still lived in Florida, I would be bundled up in jeans and a sweater. In New York, that same 63 feels like 86. Now I get why my family in Wisconsin wears shorts when it's in the 50s. It's frolicking weather!
On this afternoon's Central Park jaunt with Lauren (and special guest Jamie), I went bare-legged for the first time in months and it was so refreshing! As always, we got into some goofy shenanigans, and if I can get the darn camera to upload, you'll be viewing some interesting (Peculiar? Nutty? Just plain weird?) behavior very soon.
Tonight, I'm working on my 500 word essay for Tourism Queensland. It certainly will be a challenge to fit my life story into 500 words, but as Hamlet's Polonius said, "Brevity is the soul of wit." Dear Brevity, it's on!
