Since seeing
Romeo + Juliet at the Globe a few weeks ago, I've been inspired to brush up on Shakespeare, and have been particularly moved by
his sonnets. Here's a brilliant quatrain from Sonnet 27 that makes me think Will and I might have been good friends, because I feel this way just about every day.
Weary with toil, I haste me to my bed,
The dear repose for limbs with travel tired,
But then begins a journey in my head
To work my mind, when body's work's expired.
