I’ve recently been reminded by the Worldwide Blog Police, aka my Mom, that it’s been a bit too long since I’ve been in touch. “You’re way behind. You’re still on Italy,” she admonished, as if I didn’t know.
I pointed out that of all people, she has no room to complain considering she actually knows all the goings-on of my life. She's one of the few people who gets this rundown in verbal fashion. It’s you, my other readers who I don’t get to chat with every single day, that truly suffer when I’m too crazed to post.
“I don’t care! Get back to work!” said Lieutenant Mom. (I have to hand it to her - she takes her blog police duties quite seriously. Just a few days ago she lectured our friend Wezby, currently on a round the world adventure, for not posting often enough. At least she's consistent.)
Since Europe, I’ve nearly fried in the Florida sun twice, experienced a bizarre incident in Mexico, had a legit health scare in Paris, attended the fantastic Travel Blog Exchange here in NYC, lost my iPhone, building ID and wallet in three separate incidents and met the cast of Harry Potter at Hogwart’s. This week, I’ll try to wrap up Europe so we can get to something a bit more current.
Next up… Under the Tuscan haze.
